This beautiful glossy wombat is in the courtyard outside my studio tonight. He is not disturbed by human visitors and obviously likes having his photo taken. I think my friend Nicola Moss will want to paint him.

You are so right Susan, that is one inhabitant I have not seen locally as yet. How fantastic to have them roaming around your studio. Have a wonderful time during your residency. I really look forward to seeing the works you create from your time there.
